Wellington is the sister program to my beginner phase “Tokyo”. This is a 2 day/ week training block with each day dedicated completely to either the snatch or clean n jerk.
Wellington introduces beginner athletes to new complexes and stability exercises all while maintaining the goal of exposure and the focus being on technique. It’s designed to be run for approximately 4 Weeks in a Linear Progression fashion. So every week you go a little heavier…. This training program is all about building consistent and confident lifters.
This program is for you if:
*You’ve just finished Tokyo and you're ready to progress.
*You're a beginner lifter after some structured training.
*You're a CrossFitter and you want to add in extra weightlifting.
*You're a coach or PT and you're looking for a beginner friendly program to kick start your clients with.
